A May full of medals both in Duathlon and in Triathlon
The month of May has already displayed many medals and podia in all the disciplines where the Fiamme Oro’s athletes took part.
Since may 1st, in Andora for the Triathlon Sprint, the team FiammE Oro has behaved well: 10th place for Manuel Canuto and 11th for Danilo Brustolon.
The following day, in Venice, the first edition of the Venicecronotriathlon has been won by the Fiamme Oro, on Fondriest bike Alberto Casadei, followed by his team-mate Brustolon at the second place. The race, on Triathlon Sprint as well, has been very exciting and has revealed a great form, both physical and mental for the 2 athletes.
Triathlon or Duathlon, it doesn’t matter, and the marvellous win of Alessandro Lambruschini in the Duathlon of Montecatini is the confirmation of this.
Here below what Alessandro told us:
“A race with a first running leg. With the bike I made the difference in the 3 km uphill where I have built my success. I am really satisfied of the Fondriest bike, it really gave to me something more and thanks to that I could control the race quite easily.”
The women’s Duathlon as well has given great satisfaction with the silver medal of Italy at the European Championships in Nancy last May 2nd , with Fiamme Oro’a athletes Daniela Chmet and Annamaria Mazzetti, who made their contribution to the final podium.
We remind you the next races scheduled for the team Fiamme Oro: Daldaro for Brustolon on May 16th, while on may 22nd , stage in Senec in Slovakia , ITU race for Brustolon again , Canuto and Chmet.
