F1 is the new  reference point of technology in regards to composite materials. Manufactured  with the 3K 2x2 twill binded carbon with pre-peg fibres, it boasts an extreme  lightness and is either made to measure or in 7 sizes (XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL,  XXL) planned by Maurizio Fondriest.
The technology of the  binded carbon is the utmost expression of composite materials technology for  the racing cycle world. Thanks to the great competence of experienced  laminators, we have reached high mechanical features: stifness, fatigue  resistance and toughness.
A further guarantee  of quality is offered by the “made in Italy” as each piece of TF1 is hand made  in Italy in Fondriest laboratories where frames are manufactured and then  scrupulously inspected by a further experienced operator.

Carbon... not only fashion but chiefly high performances and highly innovative structural features. For years we at the Fondriest research centre have been following with care the development of composite materials destined for construction of products which are for those biker who look for high performances and new design forms. Thanks to the use of 3K carbon, i.e. fibre with 3000 filaments, we have made products with an extremely compact weave guaranteeing a high fibres volumetric fraction. This result gives the material an excellent malleability.
Besides using the most innovative materials, we have developed a carbon hides treatment production process which consists in the isostatic compaction of the compound by using a gas injected into the swage. In this way preassures reachable during the treatment process reach definitely higher values compared to the classic production methods with autoclave, allowing fibres to be compacted and to completely reduce any possible cavity trapped in the carbon hides. In a few words, the technology we developed allows to create frame of inimitable rigidity and comfort. Put the future to the proof.
