FONDRIEST ARDENNE TRIONFA ALLA CONTINENTAL GRAVEL – ROC D’AZUR

Prima e seconda posizione per il team su 77,4 km e 1515 metri di dislivello: la gravel Fondriest Ardenne conferma il suo valore.

Una domenica da incorniciare per il Team Torpado Kenda FSA. Sabato 10 ottobre a Frejus si è disputata la Continental Gravel Roc, gara gravel di 77,4 km con 1515 metri di dislivello, e il team ha chiuso con una splendida doppietta: Giorgia Marchet ha conquistato la vittoria, seguita al secondo posto dalla compagna di squadra Katazina Sosna Pinele.

Continental Gravel - Roc d’Azur

Il percorso ha richiesto potenza, tecnica e gestione dello sforzo: oltre 1500 metri di salita concentrati in meno di 80 km, con tratti sterrati veloci alternati a passaggi più impegnativi.

Marchet e Sosna Pinele hanno corso da squadra, trasformando la tattica in un risultato che porta il team sui due gradini più alti del podio.

Continental Gravel - Roc d’Azur

Le atlete hanno affrontato la gara in sella alla Fondriest Ardenne, la bici gravel del marchio Fondriest, pensata per chi vuole prestazioni, stabilità e comfort anche sui terreni più vari.

Una gara come la Continental Gravel Roc, con il suo dislivello e i cambi di fondo, è il banco di prova ideale, e la risposta è arrivata dal campo: prima e seconda posizione.

Questa doppietta si aggiunge ai risultati ottenuti dal team nelle gare gravel di questa stagione e conferma il lavoro di squadra, atlete e staff, e lo sviluppo di prodotto dietro ogni bici che porta il nome Torpado e Fondriest.

A Champion and the Roads of Home
Maurizio Fondriest began cycling at the age of nine and became road cycling World Champion in 1988. However, his bond with Trentino goes far beyond the bike.

Today, he still rides the roads on which he grew up, rediscovering them in a different way. Autumn is one of his favourite times of year to get back in the saddle. He loves to ride among the fallen leaves, along quiet roads and surrounded by mountain landscapes, with time to stop, look around and reflect.

For Maurizio, cycling in Trentino is also a way of reconnecting with himself and with the place he calls home.
